Gisborne Market

We had a stall at the Gisborne market last week, (1st Sunday of every month) oooohh

baby it was cold! Ebony forgot her coat so it was lucky for her I was packing thermals and could lend her my coat. The biggest seller, of course, was hats. So we will be there again on the 1st Sunday of June.

Don't worry about the map, Gisborne is small and the market is BIG.

spotted skirt

It seems looking cute for the camera runs in the family. The only photos of my kids are with them covered in dirt or food or both grimacing at the camera

warm fluffy hats

Look at this Gorgeous Girl!! If only my own beautiful daughter would become more compliant with a) wearing my creations and b)looking cute for the camera.

This is Ebony's youngest daughter of a brood of four! how does she do it! and make hairclips so we can marketeer together, what a woman.

My favorite crochet numbers

Every budding cowboy or girl needs a pair of these for bed time.

Why can't Nannas make these?

Taking the Plunge

I have finally succumbed to the Blog, I can't believe how much of my time it has so far consumed without me actually being able to do anything!!
I'm always keen to share my newest creations and after much gentle persuasion and encouragement I have started to work out how to blog, albeit a little slow and hopelessly.
So a bit about me, I moved to Geelong from Melbourne almost 4 years ago now and I love it. Geelong has such a great community and I have met so many great people.
I am a compulsive sewer & crocheteer (is that a word?) I just love it! I love to be able to see something I want and sneak into my sewing room/ studio to work away until I have finished it. What ,I hear you say, finish it? well of course I have just as many unfinished "special" projects as the next person. However I do have days where I will not let myself start something new until I have either finished my last project or unpicked it and returned it to the supply stash.
