The Spotted Jinx

I've been hibernating all Winter but now I am back and brighter than ever. This Season has beautiful bright and bold colours. My favourite! I've been busy making crochet blankets and I should have a few cushions ready soon. We have been selling our home and I had to pack up my sewing room but I have now set all the machines up around the kitchen. There is no dinner but lots of new clothes! Ha Ha, poor children, poor husband.

Summer Fun
Well, it has been one busy Summer, markets are everywhere!
I especially enjoyed the Friday Night Market in Johnsone Park run by the Queen Vic Market. Great family friendly atmosphere and yummy food. I almost felt like I had a life, bopping away to the music ha ha ha.
I have a huge range of reversible skirts at the moment, I have also made some fun ruffle skirts and a few ladies sizes.

Oktoberdee on sale
Love these bags!Okt-ober dee is having a sale. I have one of Laurens bags similar to this one and I love it! I get constant comments, I belive she is no longer making this sumptuous, soft style of large handbag. So get in quick and get it on sale, I'm sooooo tempted to buy one and put it away.

Project 2: Rag Quilt
This is our new project, Rag or Shabby Chic quilt. Cut your fabric and inch larger than your wadding. When you sew them together you have one side smooth and one side ruffley. The best of both worlds!
